Once upon a time there was a Queen who had a beautiful baby daughter. He asked all the fairies in the kingdom for the christening, but unfortunately forgot to invite one of them, a little witch as well. He came also, but when he passed the baby swing, he said:

"When you're sixteen, you will injure yourself with a spindle and die!"

"Oh, no!" Queen screamed in horror. A good fairy quickly chanted a magic spell to change the curse. When she hurt herself, she would fall into a deep sleep rather than death.

Years passed, little Princess grew and became the most beautiful girl in the whole kingdom. Her mother was always very careful to keep away from the spindle, but the Princess, on the sixteenth birthday, as he walked through the castle, go into a room where an old servant was spinning.

"What are you doing?" asked the waiter.

"I'm spinning Have you seen the spindle before?."

"No. Let me see!" The waiter gave her the shaft ... and she pricked herself with it and. with a sigh, fell to the floor.

The old woman hurried to tell the Queen fear. In addition to himself with grief, the Queen do their best to awaken her daughter but in vain. The court doctors and wizards were called, but there was nothing they could do. The girl was unable to wake from deep sleep. A good fairy who managed to avoid the worst of the curse came too, and the Queen said to him,

"When my kids wake up?"

"I do not know," I'm sad fairy.

"Within one year, ten years or twenty?" Queen continued.

"Maybe in a hundred years'. Who knows?" said the fairy.

"Oh What! Make wake him?" weeplng asked the Queen.

"Love," replied the fairy. "If the people a pure heart is to fall in love with him, which will bring back to life!"

"How can a man fall in love with a girl who was asleep?" sobbed the Queen, and so heart-broken he was, a few days later, he died. Princess bed was brought to his room and lay in bed surrounded by a garland. She is so beautiful, sweet face, not like the dead, but pink like those who sleep soundly. A good fairy said to herself,

"When she wakens, who he would look around the face? Weird and people who do not know? I could never let that happen. That would be too painful for this poor girl."

So the fairy cast a spell, and all the people who lived in the castle - soldiers, ministers, guards, servants, ladies, pages, cooks, maids and knights - all fell into a deep sleep, wherever they are at that moment.

"Now," thought the fairy, "when the Princess wakes up, they too will awaken, and life will go from there." And he left the castle, now wrapped in silence. Not that voice to be heard, not moving except for an hour, but when they too ran down, they stopped, and time stopped with them. Even a faint rustle was to be heard, only the wind whistling around the tower, not one vote, just crying bird.

The years sped past. In the castle grounds, the trees grow tall. The bushes became thick and loose, grass and vines invaded page spread to the wall. In a hundred years, grow a thick forest.

Now, so happens that Prince arrived in this area. He was the son of a king at the nearby state by. Young, handsome and melancholy, he looked for in all the solitude he could not find in the company of other men: serenity, sincerity and purity. Several hours later, now losing heart, he will change his horse and come back when he thought he could see something through the trees. . . He pushed back the branches. . . Wonder miracle! There before him stood a castle with high towers. The young man stood stock still in amazement,

"I wonder who this castle belong?" he thought.

The young prince climbed on to the palace. drawbridge was down and, holding his horse by the control, he crossed over it. Soon he saw the inhabitants draped all steps, hall and yard, and said to himself,

"They Gosh! Dead!" But in a moment, he realized that they were fast asleep. "Wake up! Wake up!" he shouted, but no one moved. Still can not believe this, he went to the palace and back to find more people, lying fast asleep on the floor. As if led by the hand in complete silence, the Prince finally reached the room where the beautiful Princess lay fast asleep. For a long time he stood looking at her face, so full of serenity, so peaceful, beautiful and pure, and he felt spring in his heart that love he was always looking and never found. Overcome with emotion, he went close, lifted the girl's small white hand and kissed it gently. . .

At the kiss, which qulckly prlncess opened his eyes, and wakening from a long long sleep, seeing the Prince beside her muttered,:

"Oh, you came to me finally! Waiting for you in my dreams, I have. Waiting for so long!"

At that time, the spell is broken. Princess got up, stretched out her hand to Prince. And the whole castle woke up too. Everyone stood up and they all stared round in amazement, wondering what had happened. When they finally realize, they rushed to the Princess, more beautiful and happier that ever existed.

A few days later, the palace is only a few moments before lying down in silence, now rang with the sound of singing, music and happy laughter at the big party given in honor of the Prince and Princess, who is getting married. They live happily ever after, because they always do in fairy tales, not very often, however, in real life.
